Before the session - Create a space where you are not disturbed, and can easily move and make sounds. - A good way is to sit on the floor, on the cushion, or in a chair. - Make sure I can see you and hear you via Zoom. - Wear comfortable clothes in which you can move. - If you wish you can bring objects that provide you with a sense of safety and home (we call them resources) e.g. pictures, photos, or objects. - Drink plenty of water before the session and eat a lighter meal. The best is not to eat 1 hour before the session - Have next to you: paper tissues, a bottle of water/tea, blanket After the session - Take time and space to nourish and resource yourself. - Eat healthy protein-rich food and drink plenty of water. - After the session try to stay in your inner space for a few hours. - Integrate by journaling, drawing, making music, and connecting to nature. - Cultivate and re-remember the moment from the session that brought you safety, peace and pleasure.
